We are specialized in all Romanian hunting programs for species such as:

      • Various game birds like quails, pigeon, ducks, geese, pheasants and other small game like hares and cull hunts.

Our primary hunting areas in Romania include:
      • The neighboring areas of Danube Delta and Danube River
      • The entire Carpathian Mountains arch
      • Rolling hills and plains rich in wildlife, in all Transylvanian region and Carpathian Mountains foothills;

2. Trophy Handling, Export, and Hunting Regulations


How are trophies handled and cleaned after the hunt?

Our team expertly cleans, prepares, and preserves your trophy to ensure the highest quality. We can also arrange taxidermy services if desired.


Can Carpathian Hunters assist with trophy export?

Yes, we handle all necessary documentation for legal trophy export, ensuring compliance with international and CITES regulations. We are also cooperating with professional global trophy export companies, if needed.


What are the local hunting regulations in Romania?

Key regulations include:
      • Hunting only during designated seasons for each species.
      • Obtaining mandatory licenses and permits.
      • Adhering to firearm and equipment requirements.

Are there age restrictions for hunting?

3. Multi-Species Hunting and Travel Options


Can I hunt multiple species during the same trip?

Yes, we can organize multi-species hunts based on the seasonal availability of game. For example in September red deer hunts can be well mixed with brown bear, chamois, roe bucks, fallow stag, wild boar and even quail + pigeon shooting. There are many possibilities for a high variety bag.


Is it possible to travel to neighboring countries for other European trophies?

Absolutely! Through our trusted network, we can arrange hunts in countries like Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Austria, Spain, France, Turkey, Macedonia, as well as other European destinations, to pursue species not available in Romania, especially the chamois and ibex subspecies.


Can I combine hunting with other activities or tours?

Yes! Many guests combine hunting with:
      • Cultural sightseeing tours or wildlife observations (e.g., castles, medieval towns).
      • Exploring the Danube Delta, a truly birds paradise.
      • Exploring neighboring countries for additional adventures.


What happens if I cannot successfully hunt a species during my trip?

While our guides do their best to ensure success, nature can be unpredictable. If necessary, we can adjust the program to extend the hunt or explore other opportunities. In some conditions, trophy deposits can be done.
