Terms and Conditions

1. Responsibility and Liability

Carpathian Hunters is represented by Emil Ionut Negrusa acting as an intermediary guide and organizer between the client and hunting lands contractors and managers, owners and outfitters; airlines, railroads, ship owners, charter air carriers providing means of transportation or any other service required by the client. Carpathian Hunters is not liable or responsible in any way in connection with such hotels or lodges, means of transportation or other services, for any loss, injury or damage to or in respect to any person or property howsoever caused or arising; Carpathian Hunters reserves the right to make such alterations in the itinerary as it seems to be necessary or desirable, to refuse, to accept or to retain as a member of the party, any person at any time (in such case refund will be based on the actual cost of the unfinished portion of the service). Carpathian Hunters reserves the right to cancel any service prior to departure, in which case full refund will constitute full settlement to the client.

2. Client Responsibility

The client needs to respect all the laws and conditions of hunting in Romania. According to the Romanian laws, the inquirer has to be member of a hunting society, to hold an accident insurance valid in Romania and to hold a valid weapon license. The client may not carry any unlawful articles or substances. If any hunter or observer offends against the prohibitions set out herein, the Outfitter will be entitled to immediately exclude from the hunting party, or other service; the offender who will be responsible for his or her own repatriation and all costs thereof. Carpathian Hunters will not assist under any circumstances such offender for dealings or negotiations with any authority.

3. Conditions of Booking

You shall comply with the instructions of Carpathian Hunters’ representatives at all times. No client shall be accepted or be permitted to continue on a hunt while their status of mental or physical condition is, in the opinion of any representative of Carpathian Hunters, such as to render them incapable of caring for themselves or make themselves objectionable to other clients or become a hazard to themselves or other clients. Carpathian Hunters will not be responsible for expenses by such persons precluded from completing the hunt for this reason.

4. Reservations & Payments

Prices quoted are based on foreign exchange values and tariffs currently in effect and prices are subject to change. The services are booked and confirmed only on receipt of the booking fee mentioned in the agreement contract.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

The cancellation and refund terms are variable and depend of the agreement contract between Carpathian Hunters and the service providers (outfitter). Any cancellation of a reservation must be in writing and shall only be effective upon its acknowledged receipt by Carpathian Hunters. Cancellation charges shall apply regarding to the details mentioned in contract.

6. Special requests

You must advise Carpathian Hunters in writing of any special requests, e.g. diet or facility/ when you submit your reservation.

7. Baggage

Baggage and personal effects, including items purchased, are the sole responsibility of the owners at all times. Temporary or permanent loss of baggage is the responsibility of you or the carrier.

8. Travel Documents & Vaccinations

It is your responsibility to ensure that passports, visas, travel permits, health certificates, inoculations, international driving license, or other documentation required for the trip are obtained and are in order. It is your responsibility to meet any additional costs incurred either by yourself (or by Carpathian Hunters on your behalf) as a result of any failure by you to comply with such requirements.

9. Risks

Carpathian Hunters draws your attention to the fact that there are certain inherent risks involved in participating in the type of trips sold by Carpathian Hunters and that you accept them at your own risk. It is your sole responsibility to take all appropriate medical advice prior to departure as to whether you are fit enough to undertake the trip booked. Carpathian Hunters shall not be liable for illness, injury or death sustained on a service sold by Carpathian Hunters which is not due to the gross negligence of Carpathian Hunters.

10. Force Majeure

”Force Majeure” means, in relation to Carpathian Hunters any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Carpathian Hunters (including, but without limitation, acts of God, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident, war or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance, or requisition, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions or other untoward occurrences). If the service is affected by Force Majeure, Carpathian Hunters shall forthwith notify you of the nature and extent thereof, also it shall be entitled to and may in its sole and absolute discretion, vary or cancel any itinerary or arrangement in relation to the trip.

11. Wounded Game Policy

If an animal is wounded and can't be recovered, wounded fee will be applied. Your license will be automatically canceled and trophy fees to the outfitter are payable accordingly to the price list.

12. Trophy Fees

Details mentioned in the contract. Please see the price list and offers requested. If you do not take with you the trophy of hunt, due to the any circumstances, you have to accept all the expenses involved and all the rates quoted for the trophy shipment.

13. Gratuities

Tipping is voluntary and is not an obligation. Tipping is a way of telling your guide, and camp staff if applicable, how much you valued his (their) services and professionalism. The amount you might tip should therefore reflect your degree of satisfaction.

14. Information in the Brochure

All information given in brochures is, to the best of Carpathian Hunters’ knowledge. The photographs reproduced and information provided in brochures depict typical scenes experienced and details on each destination; but the subject matter may not necessarily be seen or experienced while visiting that destination.

15. Photography

Carpathian Hunters reserves the right without further notice to make use of any photography or film taken during the hunt for general purposes without payment or permission.

16. Disputes

If you have any cause for complaint while traveling, you must immediately tell your opinions and bring it also to the attention of the Carpathian Hunters’ representative or who will attempt to resolve the situation. Complain after leaving the country is refused to be recognized.

17. Changes

All trophies and daily fees, hunting, terms and condition subjects can be changed without notice, by the Romania National Hunting Department and Carpathian Hunters is not responsible for this kind of changes.

18. Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between the Carpathian Hunters and you, to the total exclusion of any other terms and conditions, if no other remarks are made on the face side of the contract when signing. No alteration to the terms and conditions may be made by any of the parts, unless in writing aiming to modify or to add new details or agreements in the contract.
